I am syncing at 69mbps and used to run at around 62 but my DL speeds have dropped to 49.

Im not paying for up to 76 if i am only ever now going to get 49

Are you checking via an Ethernet cable or wireless? If the latter you need to do the wired test to eliminate wireless problems.

Hi @Alucidnation, I'm sorry that you're having issues.

I have tested the line which shows you are in sync at 51mb, but not detecting anything that may cause this. I've raised this to our suppliers, it looks like we are going to need to book an engineer, though please note the speed is still syncing within estimates.

Can you connect your router to the test socket (if not already) and reply to my ticket here, if you let us know once done so we will pick this up for you.

Ok, very nice chap from OR turned up and tested my line which was showing to be clear, however, he said that it appears to be a problem at the cabinet.

He said he was going to reset it and that should bring me back to my previous speeds and to wait around half an hour.

However, over an hour later, the speeds are still low.

He could also see that i was running at around 67 up until beginning of December and saw it drop off overnight.

Can someone re-run the checker please?

Hi @Alucidnation, thanks for getting back to us. After checking the engineer notes and retesting today we are still only seeing the sync speed come in at 49.5Mbps and I'm afraid to say the work carried out by the previous engineer doesn't look to have corrected the issue. I have updated the fault ticket which can be located here on the next best course of action in getting the speeds back within the estimates for you.

Engineer has just left and changed pairs of cables back to the cabinet and apparently has improved the speed.

However, from my basic speed tests, there is still no improvement.

Could you check from your end again please.
