Can i get fibre broadband?

today i checked if i was able to get fibre broadband using

the results for that for me is

could a staff member check to see if my line can have fibre?

That is the results i get.. so can i get fibre?
80mbs is the highest speed?

Yes you can and you should get full speed initially but as more users move onto FTTC on your cab it may drop to about 70Mbps due to cross talk - either way an extremely good speed

okay thats good news! 
i have saw the special offer for fibre extra £8.99 pm.. i am interested in that.

my phone line is with plusnet so i should qualify for that right?
also just wondering.. since i have been with plusnet for almost 3 years now, is there any loyal customer bonuses/discounts that i could get?

As OldJim suggested above, you need to call Customer Options (Cancellations) and speak to them to get the best deal.

Just ordered my unlimited fibre internet.
but since i am already a customer i am not allowed to have that special offer..
but they reduced the cost of the package to 12:99
i asked one of your advisor on webchat help on this site and they said i would be allowed to have that offer..

The special offer of £8.99 for 6 months will (over the 18 months of the contract) cost
£8.99 * 6 = 53.94
£19.99 * 12 = 239.88
Total £293.82
You offer of £12.99 will cost £12.99 * 18 = £233.82
So it is *better* than the "special" offer.

Ye sorry forgot to say I changed mind about the fibre extra I got the unlimited fibre instead.. That would normally cost 14.99

Assuming you've been offered £12.99 for 18 months then you're paying exactly the same as someone on the £8.99 deal then.
If you've signed up for 24 months then you're paying less, assuming that a new customer doesn't renegotiate at month 19...  If you've signed up for 12 months you're paying more but you can leave earlier if you so wish.

The deal I was gonna get was the unlimited fibre.. Special offer was 3.99 per month for 6month then 14.99 afterwards .

got connected to fibre broadband today
i had to go buy a 10 meter dsl cable
This the first results on the speed test

i was estimated to get around 40mb so i am happy with those results.
from 7mb to almost 40mb is awesome!
my old speed test results from my broadband internet.. huge difference with just a added 2 pounds cost!

and i noticed in account summary
the monthly cost is showing £14.99

i had a discount when i signed up to the offer..

No need for alarm - the full price is always displayed there (it is on my account).  Discounts aren't shown on that page, only in a ticket or service notice.
When you are billed the invoice should show the full price for the product at the top. Then lower down should be another line entry marked "Special Offer Discount" with a negative price that makes the net charge correct.
