OR engineers spent 2.5 hours yesterday sorting out the wiring to my house & boy, did they make a good job! My speeds are now really stable (more of that in a moment) & internet pages etc are loading immediately & streaming is better than it's been for months.
However, just out of interest, I just checked the Btw tester & that's still showing really poor speeds. Purely out of interest, is there any reason for this? At the same time, could you please check my profile as the OR engineer said that after his work it may need adjustment upwards as I now have a shorter route to the cab., new BT wiring & a new connection box?
Many thanks, apologies if I'm wasting your time.
Fixed! Go to the fix.

Which browser are you using for the test ? Some browsers are known to give incorrect results. I believe IE and Edge are the recommended ones ( which make life very difficult for us Linux users!)

The BT profile will automatically adjust to any change in synch speed. The PN profile is irrelevant these days unless you are on a static IP.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Very many thanks Sammy, on both counts. If all OR's engineers were as good as my 2 there would be a lot less reason to criticise OR.

I'm also pleased to hear of the efforts the engineer made to fix your connection.
If you want to leave thanks for them yourself I'd recommend filling out this formwize.
Let us know if you need any further assistance or have any other queries.
