Broadband won't work

Hi i'm a new customer, i got email confirmation on friday 27/09/19 that broadband was connected and ready to go. However, the router has has an orange light and b symbols flashing red since. Tried the troubleshooting steps and nothing will work.
Anyone any suggestions, need help fast as my work is dependent on wifi connection.

Hi @Sarasteenson, thanks for your post.
We're sorry to hear of this lack of connection.
On checking the line, we're showing that the router isn't connected to the telephone socket and so it's possible there's an issue with either the faceplate or internal wiring.
To rule this out, we'd recommend accessing the test socket as shown below:

Once in the test socket, if the connection does not start please let us know here and we'll be able to raise the issue to our suppliers for their investigation.
