Broadband swap date

I signed up with Plusnet on the understanding there would be a seemless swap between my old supplier. But Plusnet asked my old supplier to cancel my service on the 18th September but do not intend to start my new service untill the 20th September. When I contacted online chat the customer service advisor claimed it was up to me to sort out.

Thanks for getting in touch.

Sorry for the confusion, I can see your order is due to complete on 19/09/19. Your services with your current provider shouldn't disconnect until this date and our services will start anytime up to midnight on this date.

If you've received a text message to advise your service is due to go live at midnight on the 20/09/19 then this is referring to midnight as 00:00:00 which would practically be the same as the actual date of 19/09/19 23:59:59
