Hi hoping someone can help.
We have always had a few disconnects here and there but usually a reboot of the router and then logging into the hub manager fixed this for a time.
In the last month or so this has become much more frequent, initially we thought this might be due to more traffic using the service across the plusnet network but this is now causing huge disruption as resets aren't working.
We are getting multiple disconnects a day for long periods, just 2 adults working from home and having to tether to our mobile 4G internet as this has become so unreliable. My partner has been trying to connect for an hour now with no luck - even if we sit right next to the router with a network cable plugged in.
We don't have a phone handset in the house to test the line but the router keeps giving an orange light so wondered if the issue might actually be with the router? Is there any way this can be tested?
Our renewal is next month and we cannot consider continuing with Plusnet with this current service - can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.

orange light would mean no dsl link which would indicate a line fault . However have you tried unplugging your router power supply for ten mins and then reconnecting.
If you are confident with your settings (plusnet username and password, supplied when you joined, i.e username .plus.net ), your next step would be a router reset,(paperclip in the reset hole on the rear of router for 10 secs) YOU WILL NEED to input your details into the router after this reset by using the user name and password on the rear of the router to access the user interface.
