Broadband is now half speed

My firbe broadband went down for 48 hours on Monday morning and came back on Wednesday when BT engineer went to the cabinet.  Since then the speed is 1/2 of whats it has always been.  Normaly 7.8Mb since the day i got it foe many many months and now down to 4.4Mb.  The router has not been reset or turned off and now 3 days later nothing has changed.  It's like a cap has been placed or something.  I cant see how to raise a ticket with plusnet anymore in the help section so am im using the community forum.

Can someone check on this and let me know if a fault in line since its been fixed at the cabinet?

The way to raise a fault online is https://portal.plus.net/apps/kbdfaults

If you have an existing fault open, you can check the details at https://portal.plus.net/wizard/?p=search and reply to it.

I have now had a txt msg from plusnet and the issue has been resolved and speed is back.
