Our broadband went down on Monday following a thunderstorm. The original router was damaged, possibly by a power surge. I rang plusnet and went through the steps to test the line. They confirmed it wasn't syncing and would send an engineer out. The guy then said that it wouldn't be possible to send someone out as they had to wait on more info from openreach. He said they'd be in touch within 72 hours. The call was taken off hold this morning but as yet I've heard nothing. I am aware of other people in the area having no service at the minute. Is there anywhere I can find more info on what the issue is and when I'm likely to hear from plusnet?
