Broadband activation

Hi, can anybody tell me the best way to get my broadband activated a.s.a.p?
An engineer came out on 21/1016 and my router turned up 25/10/16 but I got a txt yesterday saying it won't be activated until 9/11/16.
Seems like an extraordinarily long time to wait!

Unfortunately that's the earliest date available for a fibre activation in your area. I'm afraid that as we had to place a new line install for the phone, we have to place the fibre order after this completes and there are often 2-3 week timescales.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I appreciate there's nothing you can do personally but I've gotta say that with this issue and the fact I can't change my direct debit date my first time experience of Plusnet is pretty disappointing.
