Broadband Access Intermittent for last two nights

Hi

My fibre broadband connection has been intermittent for the last two nights running.  The connection will drop out completely for a minute or two, then come back on for a few minutes, then drop out again.

I don't think I've ever had this problem until a couple of nights ago.  Nothing at my end has changed.

Please could you help?  Thank you!

Re: Broadband Access Intermittent for last two nights

There have been a lot of disconnects recently:

And your line is connecting at a lower speed than I'd expect:

Description GEA service test completed and no fault found but unable to check for customer equipment connected to modem.
Main Fault Location OK
Sync Status In Sync
Downstream Speed 30.0 Mbps
Upstream Speed 15.0 Mbps

Can you report a fault here and let us know when you've done that please: https;//faults.plus.net

Chris

Thank you very much for checking this and replying to me.  As you say, there have been lots of disconnects and the speed could be better.

I have now reported a Fault using the online form you directed me to...

HI

I raised a fault on Thursday as requested but have heard nothing further.  My broadband still seems to be rather inconsistent...

Noise and crackel would  suggest you have a line fault. Intermiitent noise is interferring with the broadband signal and cutting youtr connection.

Howver its a good idea to follow the torubleshooter for phone line faults to eliminate any podssibilty that the fault lies within your own property and not on the line between the exchange and your home.

I've passed the fault ticket back to you based on this as when I tested the line for noise it wasn't detecting any issues.
