Last 24 hrs speed drop from 79 Mbps to 21
Mbps tested with wired connection and wireless same reading on both....up was 18 Mbps now - 2.99Mbps

There have been a few drops on your line recently that may be related to the drop in speed. I'd suggest going through the steps at https://faults.plus.net ensuring you answer the questions at the end, we'll pick this up from here and test the line.

BT called changed the open reach modem saying last one was faulty told me my speed was back up to 80 Mbps..
But it is not..

That's most likely because the profile on our side hasn't updated yet. Give it 5minutes and try another speed test. If it hasn't increased you'll need to log in to the router and do a single disconnect/reconnect.
