Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

@ goldenfibre - We've already been through this...
Plusnet provision everyone on the same 80/20 product with their suppliers, but will apply a downstream limit of 40Mbps their end for those on the fibre unlimited package.

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

@goldenfibre if you're so desperate to check your IP profile, try putting your phone number in here, I've not had it fail once (other than "test has been run recently" etc)

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

@ Mark_ ^^ these will be pointless if your BTw PT doesn't work with further diagnostics and this link above will come back with the same result like this below:
Looks like BT refused to test, possibly because a speed test or BRAS check has been run recently which prevents this tool from working. Try again in a few hours.
Debug: BT no BRAS info

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

Fair enough, I've never not had the main one not work so I've never seen the error on either, just an idea I had Smiley

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

Sorry Mark_, in this instant goldenfibre is correct, mouselike relies on the BTw Speedtester. Not only that, some of it's messages are grossly out of date. It should be regarded as obselete.

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

BTw speed tester's further diagnostics doesn't work for me neither. Not once in three months.
I always get the same message:

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

Yeah that makes sense now I think about it, just a quick idea that popped into my head Smiley
By the way not once have I had that error message, if that helps in the slightest, just ran one using our work's connection and it worked fine too

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

I can see it not just plusnet, other isp's have the same problem with BT Wholesale performance tester. It's been drag on for years and BT never seem to get it fixed.

I wouldn't expect to hear anything for some time, probably weeks.
