Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

@goldenfibre it's because you always abuse the website. I've checked my IP profile twice in last 8 months

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

Don't insult me! I have say in the last post I haven't used BTw speedtest much lately. The last one I checked was last year. Two weeks ago when my speed was reduced (I didn't know of gateway problem with changing to different gateway have resolved it) as this is why I checked plusnet current line speed then ran BTw speedtest and it didn't work. So, I have alert this problem to Plusnet. I am the customer with Plusnet. So, it got nothing to do with you @ thesawdust.

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

How's that an insult? I'm a Plusnet customer too? But rather complain about something worth it. Go by the profile in member centre.
Also, you pay PN for connectivity. It's a BT product, try complaining to them?

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

The profile in member centre doesn't always correct! That's why PN and BT recommend to use BTw speed test to check ip profile to ensure it matched PN profile.

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

It should be just removed as it's a constant headache.
I'm assuming the same issue from before has reoccured and it's a geographic issue. Has anyone (for who it does not work at the moment) tried with their circuit ID/BBEU (if they have this) rather than their phone number?

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

I have no idea. The issues have been reported to BT.
Can I ask how this is impacting your service?

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

If your performance drops below 40Mbps on the BT Speed Tester or TBB HTTPx6, then I'm sure Plusnet will be able to look at it.

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

I will test it later around 8pm to 9pm via TBB HTTPx6 as BT Speed Test is useless to me.
Just done my TBB test just now

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

If your service isn't degraded, then running the BTW Speed Tester is of no value to you anyway.
You have a modem which tells you your sync speed/interleaving etc. This is of more use to you than anything else.
