Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

As it's the diagnostics test that fails has anyone looked at "fails by location"? I get results and am on THC exchange, part of the TH group (?THames - Reading/Bracknell/Slough area).

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

I've checked over the accounts of those who cannot run the test and there is nothing in common, different localities, different exchanges, even in one case a 20CN line.
I'm going to try and find out who Chris Pettitt spoke to last time about this.

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

@ Chris. Just to add further information to u. I went over to my mum house as her fibre with plusnet too. Her BTw speedtest fails too. I ask my best mate to run BTw test as he was with plusnet too. His BTw test fails too. So, mine and mum fails from same telephone exchange. My mate fail from different exchange.

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

We're looking at this further to see what might be causing this.
Appreciate it's been a while since I last looked at this!
Steve Crookes is also investigating too. Sorry for any delay, but please leave it with us for further investigation.

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

It has affected me in the past, it's an intermittent issue with their server/site/script or whatever is required to obtain and display the ip profile info , that's my take on it

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

Been getting this for months:-
Your speed test has completed and the results are shown above, however during the test an error occurred while trying to retrieve additional details regarding your service. As a result we are unable to determine if the speed you received during the test is acceptable for your service. Please re-run the test if you require this additional information.

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

The further diagnostics always looks a bit clunky when running, and there's nothing speedy about the time it takes to send the results to the server and display them, but it usually gets there in the end.
It's been working OK for the last few months for me (ADSL), but on a few occasions in the past the further diagnostics have refused to play no matter how long I waited, producing the error message already referred to instead.

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

Why can't Plusnet add on the member account like this below:
PN Current line speed: 77.4 Mb - date of last stamped: 17-10-14 @ 06:21
BT IP Profile: 77.42 Mb date of last stamped: 16-10-14 @ 23:57

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

It's something we have looked into previously but it simply isn't a priority to do.

Re: BTw Performance Test via Further Diagnostics

Hmm
Could not using the bt openreach cpe have something to do with this for the fftc users?
