Hi all - long time customer and adoptee of Fibre many years ago. Over the past month or so I've had increasing intermittent issues with the BT Wholesale Service Information page appearing (188.8.131.52) when trying to browse.
It cures itself in 5-10 minutes but happens regularly to the point where I am looking at alternative providers now.
Both tickets I've raised have resulted in recommendations to re-sign for 24 months and get a free new combined router/modem.
My current setup is a BT Openreach modem connected to an old wireless router in the loft. The guys tell me the router cannot be added to the Plusnet config so is being rejected sometimes - but the BT Openreach model is providing the connection, I have other hubs and mains networking so don't understand why my router would be causing the issue - its just a dumb network device in this scenario? right?
