Tried further diagnostics today, which is clearly a 'not working' day for me - it's flaky rather than faulty in my experience, and has been for years.

Still not fixed (think the tick on the header to this subject should be removed) I used to get around 65 Mbps - 69 Mbps but have noticed my speed dropping slowly and the reason I wanted to check this is to find my line profile,
I have checked my speed today

Download Speed : 46.04 Mbps
2. Upstream Test:
Upload Speed : 12.79 Mbps

So has my profile been reduced and is this he reason for the drop in speed.

It looks like it's working fine for me, but kinda wished it wasn't.
1. Best Effort Test: Download Speed 18.01 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 20 Mbps-22.38 Mbps .

If it is then you are lucky mine is still not working

I've raised those last two back to BT for investigation.
@davenos, BT have suggested that yours is working again. Are you able to test that please?

Mine is still not working. I usually try it every 3 days or so, and not once has it worked.
Any chance of another kick up their phone box @scrookes??

It's broken again for me, I'm afraid. It was working OK within the last couple of weeks.

Only size 10 wellington Boot, two trips maybe required to solve the problem.

@scrookes I've just tried the test again and i no longer get the error about the test not being available when trying to run further diagnostics, however after running the further diagnostics i now get the error "Your speed test has completed and the results are shown above, however during the test an error occurred while trying to retrieve additional details regarding your service. As a result we are unable to determine if the speed you received during the test is acceptable for your service. Please re-run the test if you require this additional information."
Re-running the test makes no difference as the same error occurs each time.

Large boot deployed. @davenos, Thanks for testing this, I have just replied to BT again to tell them you are still unable to complete the diagnostics.

Just tried again (10 min ago) and the test completed through to display of 'secondary' set of results. Each day seems hit or miss.
