BT Smart Hub / Home hub 6

Planning on changing from BT to PlusNet keeping my smart hub/home hub 6. Obviously reset, change username and enter password to get it to work. 

What about the other networks, as BT is with fon, I currently have the following networks on my router:

- My Network BTHub6-XXX

- BTWifi-with-Fon

- BTWifi-X

Do I need to turn off the other BTWifi networks manually or is it automatic, will it carry on broadcasting as it will take up bandwidth. Can I sign up with Fon and use them - have any PlusNet users done this?
