Hi there, Just had Plusnet fibre installed and am left with an Openreach modem and Plusnet router, and all the wires that go with them, in the front room (this is where the incoming phone socket is). I understand that the HH5 is compatible with Plusnet and installing it will make a cleaner installation. Has anybody done this ?

Check that it is a HomeHub 5B. The 5A suffers from G.INP disease. (See other threads about G.INP)

Remember to do a full factory reset to get rid of the BT set up.

BT don't seem to be in much of a hurry to release new firmware to fix the G-INP issue either . And HH5 Type B seem hard to get hold of.

Quote from: jamesanstee And HH5 Type B seem hard to get hold of.
The talktalk super router (hg635) could be a alternative. Last time I looked there was plenty on the auction site.
Kitz is reporting it as G.INP ready
Some details here: http://npr.me.uk/hg635.html
