BT Home Hub 5 router

Hi all

I am trying to use my old BT Home Hub 5 as a replacement for my stock Plus Net one.

I have folled guides on here, however the BT router just wont connect to the internet.

I have changed username and password (not sure how I can check this password anywhere - wont let me amend in plusnet router)

the BT router has been factory reset as well, just no luck in connecting. Any thoughts?

thanks

Re: BT Home Hub 5 router

@frog61

Welcome to the forums.

The username and  password are the same as you use to log in to the Plusnet Portal https://portal.plus.net/index_nlp.html

But the username has to have the following added @plusdsl.net

So if your username on the Portal was fredflintstone you would enter fredflintstone@plusdsl.net into the HH5 connection details and use the portal password too.

Sorry if you have already done this but it is the most common error and one that people will ask you first Smiley

Re: BT Home Hub 5 router

Many thanks! for your quick response.

it has suddenly started to work now. (grr)

Only issue I am having now is getting my Vodafone Sure Signal sorted.

thanks!
