BT Cancelled Fibre Upgrade - No Plusnet Confirmation For Revised Date

Plusnet arranged and confirmed an Openreach appointment for 28th October to install unlimited fibre broadband. The engineer never showed up. Plusnet said it was not aware of the cancellation by BT and arranged on 28th October a second appointment for 6th November. A confirmatory SMS and email was due to be sent within 24 hours of the arrangement. 5 days later and I am still waiting for confirmation. No reply from Plusnet to question ('ticket') raised even after 36 hours.
The questions are: who are these incompetents giving Yorkshire such a terrible name? And how do you get them to reply to a message?

The appointment is confirmed for the 6th, I've just updated the ticket on your account confirming this too.
