Speedtest should never be charged. We have our rights to check speed of why is broadband slow as a snail tonight. Too much buffering tonight. Ping is high tonight.

So according to AndyH we should not check our speeds if we feel we have a problem , you are getting like PN and removing bits we need

In your case, you have a history of latency issues. I wanted to see what your latency is from the command prompt to rule out any browser issues. There was another user here last week who had the same issue and it turned out to be his browser.
There are also some users on here who are perpetual complainers - they look for anything and everything to complain about and they jump on the bandwagon if they find it.

I realize you are trying to Help AndyH , but even on a previous thread you suggested my problem was withing PN network .
ok i do complain regularly , but that is because i have a reoccurring problem most people who use their connection for general surfing wouldn't notice what i see so much because it only causes minor troubles to them , but for me as i online game High ping is the worse type of gremlin you can have   .
ok my connection is great 90% of the time but PING causes problems the 10% when i want to Game , and its very annoying that i have to Gateway hop every few days to get a decent connection, i have just spent a lot of money on a Good VDSL router to remove possible causes but it is still here .
i suppose i could move ISP but at the end of the day i am still using the same wires whoever i am with . All i am asking for   is a connection where i dont have to mess about every few days so i can enjoy my gaming with friends    

ps and i dont Just complain i have also contributed to helping other people here  
have just run a TBB and everything is back to normal Now 20 ms ping

To be clear, I wasn't referring to you in the last bit of what I said previously.
The whole point of a traceroute would be to pin-point where the latency increase is occuring. The other thing is that I don't think people have reported latency issues which have been fixed by hopping gateways, this tends to be more throughput.

Packet loss certainly changes with gateway which I imagine would be upsetting to gamers.
See the red on the following two graphs.
Packet loss starts after changing gateway just before 8pm

The packet loss continued at a reduced level (outside peak time) until I swapped gateways around 5pm.

Yes same gateway from around 8pm on the first graph to around 4:30pm on the second graph.
The two graphs are from consecutive days 13th and 14th of this month.
