You need to run a speed test:
https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/how-to-test-your-broadband-speed/
Then to report the fault:
Worth while adding any additional info you can, e.g.
Modem sync speed, any line stats....
Hope this helps.

Hi @glesgajohn, sorry to hear you're having speed issues. Checking the connection from this side there are a few errored seconds showing however, nothing which would explain such a big drop between what we are seeing get to the router and what your speed results have shown.

Can I ask, the 17Mbps you have recorded, was this over a wired or wireless device?
Also, have you noticed the speed issue across more than 1 device at all? (prefrerbly wired also)
When running the speed test that got you 17Mbps, were there anything running in the bbackground? (downloading, stremaing etc...)

tests were done wired and wireless, results were the same , nothing else was running from my BB.
I have just done some more speedtest at http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/ all hardfwired
my 1st test returned 22meg then 33meg and its now returning 37.44 meg,
i will keep an eye on it over next 24hours to see if its ok
ps
now its @ 36.32meg
so its up and down
now 37. i will monitor it over next 24hours to see how it runs

Thanks for getting back to us @glesgajohn. It's strange the tests are coming in so varied within suhs short periods and when re-testing this side the conenction is still looking spot on to the rotuer.
One thing I'd suggest whislt you monitor over the next 24 hours is to use other speed tests that aren't speedtest.btwholesale.com as sometimes it can be the speedtests that are wrong and giving false readings. Let us know how it goes.

hi @glesgajohn the reason we ask to run speed tests via speedtest.btwholesale.com is that it logs the testing result on the supplier platform. Essentially evidencing the problem should it come to raising a faults etc.
However, sometimes server routing and geo location data can affect your displayed speed on a speedtest. So usually I'd suggest trying a few different testing sites to find an average.
