Any Problems tonight? Download speed has hit rock bottom.

Anyone else experiencing very poor download and upload speeds?
Almost like being back on ADSL...
I have FTCC which was giving me 76/20 but tonight it has dropped down to 9mb and my upload is 4.
This is causing my stream to have nothing but issues.

I have given my plus net router a quick reboot and run a speed check on BT wholesale which gave me 9/4

As it is the weekend I doubt if Plusnet staff will see this until Monday at the earliest. This forum is more for asking for help from other users like myself althoigh PN staff do read the threads but do not always post to every thread.
Have you tried the tests recommended at http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,143836.0.html ?
If so, then log a fault at http://faults.plus.net or phone in for help if you want to be seen faster. The response from just logging a faulty is 72 hours for Plusnet to look at it (and that is not guaranteed) so I would call them if I was you.

Next time try running the Thinkbroadband (http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html) test. I've had a couple of cases of an infamous network issue recently.

@stronghold - I've tested your connection and a fault has been found.
I've now raised this with our suppliers for further investigation and our faults team will get back to you via the ticket on your account once we've received updates from our suppliers.

Quick update.
Engineer has just left, they found 2 faults, one at the exchange and one of the pole outside.
speed is around 12 down and 4 up but Engineer has assured me that my speeds should return to normal over the next few hours.
Fingers crossed...

Speed getting better 60 down but only 4 upload hope the upload starts to increase as I've got a stream event with Ubisoft Next Friday and I really could use my upload back.
