Another speed drop over time thread

Had unlimited installed in Dec 2014 and attained speeds of 38 down and 8 up.
Noticed streaming seemed unusually sluggish this evening so ran a few checks to notice that I'm now only syncing at 30.8 (info from portal page)
These are the results from the availability checker, you can see I'm now right near the bottom end of 'Impacted'
                                              Download        Upload
                                              High  Low        High  Low
FTTC Range A (Clean)         55.3 35.7 13.9 8.3 -- Available
FTTC Range B (Impacted) 46.5 27.4 13.7 6.1 -- Available
I've attached the results of the advance BTW test also.
Can this be looked into please?
Thanks in advance.

If it's an overall drop over time it's most likely crosstalk so nothing PN or any other ISP can do. Do you ever see times when the original speed occurs?

Re: Another speed drop over time thread

I tried a 30 minute disconnection but the profile is unchanged. My concern now is i've lost a quarter of my original speed, will I have to wait unit I drop out of the impacted range before anything can be done?
Another thing I could possibly try is a HG612 from eBay as I've been supplied an ECI and the DSLAM is Huwaei?

Re: Another speed drop over time thread

Hi @beef68,
I've just performed some diagnostics and no obvious issues came up.
According to that throughput speeds are within our original estimate.
However the BT speed test is below that so I'm going to advise that you raise a fault: http://faults.plus.net

Re: Another speed drop over time thread

Well I never.
I get home from work to check on things and my profile is back up to 37.2  Cheesy
Many thanks to whoever sorted it out.
