Am i doing something wrong?

Ok,

I signed up to normal unlimited broadband my speed through eithernet cable was around 12 Mbps

I have now gone onto fibre broadband (got email today saying its all connected and up and running,

But on the plusnet speed test page my new fibre broadband speed is less around 11Mbps

I am doing something wrong? cos i am not going to pay the extra for fibre if is slower.

Two possibilities

Despite the email you are still on ADSL

The Plusnet profile hasn't updated

Can you check the speeds reported by the router

Did the email say your account change had completed?

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

It turned out that the email was sent out a day early lol
