Re: After switching from BT to Plusnet DNS servers are still BT?

Is that not due to you not using a PN Router and you not changing DNS servers within that router?

Hi

this is a brand new router never used before I got Plusnet, and it has been updated and factory rebooted.

Have you have selected Safeguard as that uses BT's DNS servers

Re: After switching from BT to Plusnet DNS servers are still BT?

I'm using a Hub One and the DNS are

Primary DNS: 212.159.6.9  cdns01.plus.net
Secondary DNS: 212.159.6.10  cdns02.plus.net
I must have been really bad in a previous life as this was my 3rd ISP in a row that used lithium.
Now you're stuck with me because my new ISP doesn't run a forum Cheesy

Re: After switching from BT to Plusnet DNS servers are still BT?

I had a strange problem with dns servers when I first moved back from bt, It took weeks to sort itself out.

there was no explanation from plusnet either!

@doop

What did you use to find those DNS IP addresses? A router wouldn't usually be configured with 4 DNS servers.
