After switching from BT to Plusnet DNS servers are still BT?

hi

i was just trying to find my what my IP was when i noticed that the DNS servers are BTs?

 

81.139.57.75 - Hostname None ¦ ISP BT

81.139.57.76 - Hostname None ¦ISP BT

81.139.57.44 - Hostname indnsc135.bt.net ¦ ISP BT

81.139.57.43 - Hostname indnsc134.bt.net ¦ISP BT

Have Openreach messed up and not switched me properly?

Also my IP is Plusnet not BT

Is that not due to you not using a PN Router and you not changing DNS servers within that router?

this is a brand new router never used before I got Plusnet, and it has been updated and factory rebooted.

Have you have selected Safeguard as that uses BT's DNS servers

Its a Linksys router

and i am NOT using safeguard

I'm using a Hub One and the DNS are

Primary DNS: 212.159.6.9  cdns01.plus.net
Secondary DNS: 212.159.6.10  cdns02.plus.net

I had a strange problem with dns servers when I first moved back from bt, It took weeks to sort itself out.

there was no explanation from plusnet either!

What did you use to find those DNS IP addresses? A router wouldn't usually be configured with 4 DNS servers.
