Had an engineer visit this week #103701082, they replaced copper from home to box outside.
Unlimited fibre is 38mb right ? seen as my line is more than capable of this she was syncing @ 42mb , this she said was due to PN having my profile set @ 30mb could we please set it correctly for my product .
Could someone also update ticket with OR visit details i would like to know what she reported as the conversation about the jointing on the copper to my house she was supprised i even had sync lol.

We're still seeing a lot of sessions that aren't connecting correctly, are you still seeing problems with the connection in this respect? Or do you turn your router off when it's not in use?
The line is in sync at 31Mbps, so the profile of 30800 on our side is correct.
The line is also banded at the profile below, which can only be removed following an engineer visit and resolution of a fault. However at you aren't currently at the very top of the band this isn't impacting you at the moment.
Profile Name 0.128M-32.4M Downstream, Retransmission High - 0.128M-7.2M Upstream, Retransmission Low
I've included a graph below:
I've left the fault ticket open so the faults team can pick this up again.

The engineer said that PN had put the profile of 30mb on my line and this "Band" was to be removed via PN! not sure if thats correct , No i dont turn of the router at all only time over the past couple of days was when i was installing openwrt on the wdr3600 but i always closed the PPP conection first via the router (not modem). Since the 13th I see one resync and that upped my sync speed from 28mb i thing to 30mb. The engineer replaced copper but i also replaced the faceplate to a MK3 version this seemed to remove the interferance (i think) as the higher frequency on D3 on my stats were always dropping from 9db to 0db now its solid .
And this
Profile Name 0.128M-32.4M Downstream, Retransmission High - 0.128M-7.2M Upstream, Retransmission Low
Was this
Profile Name 0.128M-40M Downstream, Retransmission Low - 0.128M-10M Upstream, Retransmission Low
I would have thought the engineer would have been aware of this banding on my fibre as she was trying all sorts of things to try and get the 42mb sync . im confused now , i cant even remember what product im on 38mb or 76mb , in theory i should be seeing the 38mb all the time.
If an engineer can only remove this then i need another one out to remove the banding!! all the work done seems to have resolved my issues of noise/interferance plus with the replacement of copper too its ok. Surely the engineer should have done this :(.
Anyways will the banding remove itself ? like DLM as the line is stable and already seen one increase will it continue untill the correct line speed is met?
