Advice needed setting up an FTP server

on a BT HUB 5 (Have a Hub 6 not yet in place - not sure whether it will make life easier)

 

I'd like to set up an FTP server on my machine. Sadly I am not smart enough to set up all that needs to be done on the router; have tried Filezilla and Cerberus. Both had settings (eg. services) which do not seem to be accessible on the BT router. 

 

Anyone?

Have you tried forwarding creating a new 'Application' on the homehub with Port 21 as the port?

 

Port 21 is the usual default FTP port.
