Activation?

Today is the activation date for my fibre,the engineer come but couldn't come in obviously and got me to install a mk4 faceplate to replace the nte5,went for half an hour and said that everything should work but the router is flashing purple and won't connect,do I have to wait on a text from plusnet before the Internet will be activated?

You need for PN's automation to do its thing, or a PN staffer to see your post and intervene. It can take up to midnight as has already been advised. = unless you are keeping the same number and are on the same cabinet..

Don't have a phone to test but my phoneline has been activated since the 27th,the engineer said he wasn't allowed near the box when the last engineer came

Still not been activated and I keep trying to ring the customer services number and it's not accepting calls so how do I contact anyone?
