I received my hub one this morning. What's the chances of my fibre being activated today?

it won't be activated until the date of your engineers appointment, when is that?

you can use the hub one on adsl too if you want to get it set up earlier.

As stated by @dvorak you are unlikely to get activated today. I'd personally swap to the hub one today though as it saves bother on the day, plus you'd benefit from 5ghz wireless.

I was told the 3rd May but has to be confirmed apparently

OK from checking your order status our suppliers have confirmed a committed date for the 09/05/2016 and this can take up to midnight for the order to complete.
