Activation day

Hi there,

 

Does anyone know the normal time of day for activation? First signed up to Plusnet on 8th August but the first order failed due to a number porting issue apparently, so have waited a very long time for today!! But still no text or email saying it's up and running.. any advice would be welcome..

I'm happy to say that all your orders are complete and you should be able to establish a connection to the internet. 

 

Could you set up your router as per the information contained and let us know once you are up and running?

Hi, thanks for such a quick reply! I've just plugged in the router and it goes green, then blue for about 20 seconds, then flashing orange and now it's on solid orange with a red flashing broadband light...

Fix

@tomnickrich - could you please try following these steps for me

 

1) To connect to your Hub One, you will need to open a browser and go to http://192.168.1.254 If you have any issues doing this via Wireless, we recommend trying to do it via Ethernet cable instead.

 

2) You should come to a page with information about your connection, click 'Settings' at the top and it will ask you to sign in with a Password. This is located on the back of your router under 'Admin Password'

 

3) Select the option for 'Broadband.'

 

4) You will see some default options, if not, please press 'Disconnect' on the right and this will allow you to change the Username and Password.

 

5) For your username, this should be your account username and should be in the following format: (accountusername)@plusdsl.netYour password is your account password6)

 

Press 'Connect' and you should be online.
