A year ago, I was getting download speeds of up to 38 mbps, although supposedly guaranteed a minimum of 45.8 mbps. I was reasonably happy with that, but since the turn of the year my download speed has fallen week by week and is usually less than my upload speed now. Plusnet not very helpful, suggesting that I try another router to see if things improve. Well, I bought a new router, ADSL filter and cables. The tech people at Plusnet were very helpful in helping me set up the new router, but to no avail. My current (tonight) download speed is between 1.4 mbps and 5.4 mbps and upload speeds between 5.8 and 6.9 mbps, with connection occasionally so slow that connections time out. Plusnet just say that they have passed it to the appropriate department for investigation, but that was a week ago and I haven't heard a thing nor has there been any improvement. What do I need to do to get Plusnet to actually deal with this?
