ADSL speeds on new fibre connection

Hi
I plugged my new Hub One in this morning as per confirmation email from Plusnet that I've been switched over but speed tests suggest otherwise.
BTw performance test says that for my connection, the range should be 1.2 - 4Mbps
Does OpenReach need to change something on the cabinet or has Plusnet not flicked the switch?
Any advice appreciated

Re: ADSL speeds on new fibre connection

Your still due a engineer this morning to swap you over to fibre.
After that's been done your speeds should increase.

Re: ADSL speeds on new fibre connection

Thanks Matthew
Is that done at the cabinet or do they need to come to the house?  I was told at the time an engineer was booked for this morning to install the Hub Zero but since then they sent me a Hub One so wasn't sure if I still had to wait in for an engineer (which I am doing)
Got onto Live Chat and they say that my order is showing as committed and just waiting to get through to Provisioning.
Any idea what that means?

Yes the engineer still needs to visit your property.

Just pray you don't get a contractor from Kelly's come to do it.

Re: ADSL speeds on new fibre connection

Update - engineer turned up just after 12, switched me over at the cabinet and replaced the faceplate on the master socket.
Currently getting 34Mb so all is good!
