@gunster,Sorry I thought that you had finished. No hijack intended.
Maybe someone with more experience could shift my stuff to a new thread.

@StephenH No, those results are from the member centre. You need to log on to the router, and navigate to the Advanced/Troubleshooting/Helpdesk tab.
You can find out more details on how to do that in the Help section.

@StephenH yes that s the one.
Alas for some reason your line in its current condition is not able to get the max speeds - this may be down to a few different reasons.
1. Does your line sound quiet when you dial 17070 option 2?
2. Do you have a filtered Master Socket?
3 If so, do your speeds increase if you plug the router via a filter into the hidden test socket?
4 If not, is the router plugged into an extension socket?
HTH

@gunster Sorry to hear you're having issues. I've tested your line and it's showing a potential internal issue known as a 'Loop' fault which may explain why your speeds are poor. I've attached your estimates below
Featured Products |
Downstream Line Rate(Mbps) |
Upstream Line Rate(Mbps) |
Downstream Handback Threshold(Mbps) |
WBC FTTC Availability Date |
WBC SOGEA Availability Date |
Left in Jumper |
|||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
High | Low | High | Low | ||||||
VDSL Range A (Clean) | 25.4 | 16.5 | 3.3 | 1.8 | 14.2 | Available | Available | -- | |
VDSL Range B (Impacted) | 18 | 8.8 | 3.2 | 0.9 | 6.4 | Available | Available | -- |
I'd recommend going through the steps here. Let us know how you get on
@StephenH I can see we've responded to your other post here.

Hi @gunster,
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. I've taken a look into the ongoing fault investigation and raised a response to this via the open ticket on your account, which can be viewed here. Please let us know once you've been able to respond to the ticket so we can move further with the investigation.
