76 Mb Fiber Connection With slow speeds of 2.5Mbs

I moved over to Plusnet from BT about 2.5 months ago and to be honest I'm regretting it massively, this is the 3rd time I'm getting my 80mb connection down to below 3mb,  came home again today to find it the same and no speeds,

I have spent 15 years in IT so I have tried all the usual and know its not on my end, also in 7 years with BT not a single issues with speeds, had same infinity for 2 years with out a single speed issue, I have tried multiple routers and connections, Im on an NT5E faceplate and I have checked it and its all correct

Im looking for some answers on this otherwise I'm going to go for breach of contract as I have had enough, 2mb out of 78 is not acceptable

See attached current info and speed, Note I had just swapped the routers over to test when taking this hens the low connection time.

Your router log  is reporting download connection speed at nearly 80Mbs

if you’ve tried different routers then it looks like the problem is LAN side.

How are you  conecting to the router, Ethernet or WiFi ?

Re: 76 Mb Fiber Connection With slow speeds of 2.5Mbs

Issues is external, I have multiple devices all split across Cat 5 and wifi, all behaving the same, tested with single laptop connected via Cat5 with everything else offline and still the same,

This is either congestion at the DP or a bad switch, or more back end plussnet.

The Thinkbroadband speedtest is a good one to run when congestion is suspected.

It gives results for single threaded and multi threaded tests.

Typical congestion time is over now so it's not showing in the speedtest, hopefully one of the staff will pick up this thread tomorrow.

Re: 76 Mb Fiber Connection With slow speeds of 2.5Mbs

Connection is badly usable tonight speeds dropping to below 1mb

As there has been no support and no action on here to any of my issues I am

A: going to Social media to state how [-Censored-] this service is

B: emailing the CEO to inform them of breach of contract and I'm going back to BT, this is madness

Below is 2 tests a few minutes apart on new laptop on cat 5 direct into router

Re: 76 Mb Fiber Connection With slow speeds of 2.5Mbs

Have you reported a fault?

Is there anything else going on within your network?

What are your connection speeds? The \help Desk tab from your router can help - speeds tests can always be variable.

Re: 76 Mb Fiber Connection With slow speeds of 2.5Mbs

I can't get them to answer the phone to report a fault, Is there not support on here ?

My network is fine, I have done the tests on my end, I have been around the block and have been in IT and comms for close to 20 years in total, this is congestion at the DP.

current connections from hub is

5. DSL uptime: 1 days, 13:22:46
6. Data rate: 19999 / 79903
7. Maximum data rate: 26451 / 82517
8. Noise margin: 15.3 / 5.9
9. Line attenuation: 14.7 / 13.1
10. Signal attenuation: 14.8 / 13.1

The 1st graph is a perfect example of congestion.
