5ghz wifi freezes, 2.4 is fine. Pulling my hair out now.

Can't you export the configuration, reset the router then re-import. That should reset the router to factory setup then bring back your tweaks.

Unless of course it's one of the tweaks that's causing the problem.

I could give that a go, cheers. Pretty much since I started this thread, the 5ghz side of things have held out fine, I did mess about with the Sony tv settings though, WiFi and Bluetooth. It's wired but uses WiFi fo location and I turned the voice search off as I never use it. Maybe that was the culprit...... 🙄🙄
I'm going to leave the hard reset for now and monitor what happens because right now it's perfect again. I will update if I find anything out though.
