40/10 really slow in evenings & weekends

Hi,
For the last six weeks or so our fibre speeds have been terrible at nights and weekends.

From 40meg DL during quieter times in the day, to below 2meg at nights and weekends.

Weeks of back & forth with customer support isn’t getting far - they say everything is fine, while it’s most certainly not.

Can someone please help me? 😊

Have you considered running a 24/7 monitor such as JD's Auto Speed Tester to demonstrate the speed differences you are getting?

This is my monitor for last month which fortunately shows no issues but using graphs such as this can help prove your case.

Here’s a history from my phone WiFi speed check app.
Wired connection shows same pattern, and somdod the BT wholesale speed test.

It’s been going on for weeks.
Plusnet customer support are offering to send out an engineer now, but I’m not convinced there’s anything wrong with the wiring - looks like a crowded network issue.

@Arabdeen Sorry to hear you're having issues. When the speeds drop can you carry out a speedtest here over a wired connection and click further diagnostics once the first test completes.

No problems. At the moment, we're waiting on our suppliers capacity team to look into their back-haul network.

Our suppliers have advised us that their capacity team have fixed a problem on the equipment at your exchange.

Can you confirm that your speeds are now normal in the evenings?
