40/10 or 40/2 ??? Low upload profile

Hi,
I was on the 80/20 product but getting 40-43 down and 10-10.5 up due to distance from the cabinet.
So i thought I'd save £5 a month and go back to 40/10.
It completed on the 9th, and while the download speed is a perfectly acceptable 37-38, the upload is 1.7 ish
I've run the BTW checker and the upstream profile is indeed 2Mb
Is this right or can it be increased?

PN don't sell 40/10, only 40/2 or 80/20.

@dvorak either way the OP was on 80/20 and therefore should be getting a higher upload only new customers should be put on 40/2
once again the system and or the Agent that made the change has messed up, one of the CRT when available can change that and put the OP on the correct upload.

Not true
He decided to change from Fibre Extra to Fibre and that product only gives 40/2
This is not the case where a re-contract from 40/20 put him on 40/2 and shouldn't have

I suggest giving the Customer Options Team a call to see what they can offer on a move back to 80/20 extra. Their number is in Oldjim's sig.

Rung that number but must have hit the wrong options - the 1st person passed me through to the options team.
I'm back on the 80/20 and got a better deal for a 24month contract.
Thanks everyone - great customer service all round (though it would have been nice to have been told of the upload speeds on the 'cold' call)
