25 minutes on hold for provisioning, explain issue and get hung up on

Really appreciate a call back.

 

Only signed up yesterday so this isn't really the most promising of starts...

I'm really sorry to hear that this has happened! 
I shall pass this across as feedback through the relevant channels. 

I've had a look at your account and can see the reason why you called us, the number issue has been looked into and an order has been placed to attempt to retain your chosen telephone number. 

Have a look at this ticket which was placed on your account by the Provisioning agent you spoke to.
