14 day wait for phone line... Then ANOTHER 14 day wait for fiber?

Anyone else have this experience:
I ordered plusnet and the checkout process fully implies that I will have internet access within 14 days.
Now I've waited those 14 days, I find out that was just for remote activation of the phone line and I will have another 14 day wait for fiber broadband?
I don't even need a phone line. At least plusnet can start billing me early, before I have access to the service I care about... broadband.
I work from home so this unanticipated big delay is killing me. Its costing me a lot of money. If I'd known there would be a 4 week delay I would have gone with Virgin.
Not very happy.

Same here. And the website still says that broadband and phone will be installed the same day. I don't even have a date for the broadband install, do you?
Totally pissed off by this false advertising.

I do have a date yes, I think you need to call them to prompt them to book you in. When I called, they said it wasn't booked in yet and did it while I was on the line.
The entire process let me with the distinct impression I would have broadband on the first install date. Nope.
