1 second power outage

A few days ago the whole town had a 1 second power cut and since then every day about the same time router lights go red and in the event  log
18:49:32, 02 Feb. ( 144.800000) PPP LCP Receive Configuration Request
18:49:32, 02 Feb. ( 144.330000) PPP LCP Send Configuration Request
18:48:37, 02 Feb. ( 89.720000) PTM over DSL is up
18:47:48, 02 Feb. ( 40.420000) WAN Auto-​sensing running.
18:44:16, 01 Feb. ( 105.220000) WAN operating mode is VDSL
18:44:16, 01 Feb. ( 105.220000) Last WAN operating mode was VDSL
should I do a reboot the router (bt hh5)

If you do decide to reboot the router, log in first and disconnect from the internet. Then, later on reboot the router and log back in to the router before re-connecting to the internet.
