1/3 speed and failing wifi

So I've been with plus net for a couple of months. For the past month my speed has about 20Mbps instead of the ~66Mbps I used to have.

Now another issue started happening: Wi-fi is constantly dropping!! Devices disconnect and cannot reconnect until I restart the hub (which takes AGES). This is super annoying, all my smart speakers turn into paper weight and worse: I randomly drop out of work meetings!

My line has been diagnosed with a fault and I'm still waiting for a fix. Meanwhile there is another issue with the router which can't even be solved according to what I've read in this forum (I've disabled 5GHZ which is unacceptable, but I tried, disabled DHCP, factory reset...)

I know we're in the middle of a pandemic and everything, but a line problem and a faulty hub is just too much.

I'll be looking into cancelling the contract and finding a decent provider.

Best regards,

Jason
