Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening? I'm using a PCI Wireless Network Card and it happens on different networks.

Possibly the router is busy doing a higher priority task when the increased response times occur. Does this cause a problem with normal use of the router?

Many thanks for the response. I've since spoken to the hardware manufacturer. It seem to be an issue with the card itself. I'll need to replace it.
