@Anonymous -OK, I'll ignore it, and just continue 'stop loading this page', the few times I visit the Members Centre.Thumbs_Up

Re: tig.mokie1.com

I can't get the portal home page to fully load and I get 'Transferring data from www.plus.net...' having logged in.

I do see 'tig.mokie1.com' briefly in the bottom left during the login page load.

The portal home page never fully loads but as it's a stepping stone to further pages it's not a problem.

Re: tig.mokie1.com

I don't know if this is going to help or hinder but these are the non Plusnet URLs scraped from the page after I login.

Probably just serve to confuse but may be useful.

Re: tig.mokie1.com

No, that's called Nightly, as it's a nightly build in 64bit.

Hope this helps.

Re: tig.mokie1.com

@jab1 - I think this is a reference to your WaterFox browser.

Re: tig.mokie1.com

Morning

Yes. I saw you said it was called Waterfox (sorry I've never heard of that) And as I've worked on Nightly for several years now, I thought I'd see if that's what you meant.

The 64bit version of Firefox is Nightly.. Its my browser of choice now we don't have Netscape anymore.

Just trying to help.

Hope all is well and your problem gets sorted asap.

Kind regards

Richard

Re: tig.mokie1.com

@Rsebrie - No problem, Richard. I also have FF, but only the 32bit version. WF has been around for a  while, before FF64, and I've stuck with it.

Problem solved btw - the offending site just can't get past ad-muncher.Wink

Re: tig.mokie1.com

Good news then. 👍

What Ad Muncher are you using? I use Ad-Blocker plus in Nightly, IE and Edge,  I used GreaseMonkey and Ghostery in Windows 7, but Windows 10 is completely different.⚠️💻⚠️

Im glad someone told you to use the debug console, as that's the way I'd go about it.📺

Ive only just figured out that Java isn't supported in a Firefox, Nightly or any other variant, but am too chicken to remove the Java installed on my PC for "other browsers." That and that I have 32bit and 64bit Java installed. I should only really have one installed, the 64bit version as I'm running Windows 10 Pro 64bit, but yet again, too chicken to do anything about it.🤕

At the moment, I'm just keeping my PC functioning, as I've been getting Display Driver Errors, USB hub errors, and lots of run time errors. I don't mind this, as long as it lasts until the creator update comes, then as long as I can download that and burn it off I can start again with a clean factory reinstallation.💻👍

Well I say that, but I have to learn an new technique for installation again this time. Not only do I have to install pre install drivers, before I install Windows, I've now found out I have to update my Harddrives Firmware via a UEFI boot up disk first, then do my preinstall drivers, then install Windows, then install Drivers and then apps.🤔

So I probably won't be online for a week or two whilst doing this. I know it's gonna be tuff to pull off, but I know it's going to be worth it in the long run.😏

Anyway, sorry, going off track. I'm glad you've figured out it's a redirect to nothing, but I'd still block that cookie. I'm miss the days of HTML, before DMHTML and HTML5. I've still got my old copy of Dreamweaver, but never use it anymore, as I have no idea what I'm looking at in the code nowadays as soon as I see the dreaded Java Snipet...💥

Anyways, best to be safe than sorry.🤓

Glad you got some help here

Kind regards

Richard

Re: tig.mokie1.com

@Rsebrie - You could start a thread of your own if you want specific help but you really shouldn’t worry about uninstalling the Java Runtime (JRE), to be fair to Java that was one of the good things about it in that if you do have an application installed that relies on the JRE when you run the App it will bleat, at which point you can re-install the Runtime it needs.

Be bold, take the steps and free up some hard disk space.

Re: tig.mokie1.com

@Rsebrie The program I referred to is exactly that - if you Google it, it should be the first result if you use 'ad muncher' as your search term.

It is cross-browser, and IMHO lighter and much more customisable that many other tools. It is the only one I use now, and has been for the past 4 or 5 years.

Just a final comment - As of yesterday, I think I still see this on loading the Members Centre, but it does not 'stick' Huh
