Apologies if this is covered elsewhere but I've struggled to find a definitive answer.
I currently have my Plusnet DNS Records set to keep my emails with plusnet and the domains pointing at the sister payh.co.uk (plesk servers) I have become disenchanted with the cost and limited allowances payh offer so decided to vote with my feet.
I know I need to change the DNS records to point to my new host (Host Papa) but need to to make sure I do it right. To add a complication I need to point to a sub directory for each of the sites. i.e. hostpapa IP/public_html/subdirectory
Current settings are:-
Left field Type Pri Right field
mydomains.com. a ???.??.??.???
www cname mydomains.com.
ftp cname mydomains.com.
Is it a matter of just changing the IP address in the right field if so do I change it to ???.??.??.???/sub_directory or is it more complicated than that?
Help please.
