php mail

Hi all,

I have a php script calling mail(). Do I need to place this file somewhere different to the default webserver /htdocs location? I see several posts that I do but they are old!  The script does not appear to be working correctly on the PN web server. Does this server have php or is there some other app server where I need to place script files?

The address in the script is to a domain hosted by PN (not a plus.net addy) are there any restrictions on the relay that might be preventing it working?

Carl

Re: php mail

Unfortunately basic webspace only supports static HTML pages. PHP and Perl scripts can't be run. Sad

Re: php mail

Advanced (CGI) webspace which supported PHP, Perl and MySQL, hasn't been included with products sold for several years.

I guess you need to speak to Business Support to discuss options.
