I'm Plusnet end to end and can confirm it's loading correctly.

I can now access the website normally.

Thanks to all involved in sorting it out. I think the service from PlusNet and the community is very good and it is the reason why I am still with them since the Force9 days!

Have a good weekend everyone.

Site is displaying correctly, albeit with 2024 opening times, and it states that the site is not secure.
Was a member for years, but moved from PN fttc to fttp from an AltNet. Getting 940Mb up and down. Happy to stay on here and try to help others. 

You fell into a snake pit which is being watched at the moment ... so you got a fairly quick escalation to the right team.

However, I fear you might not have fared so well through other support channels.

@mystreet1

The fact that https is not used, does not make the site insecure until it seeks to acquire user data.  In the absence of a relevant context, much of the "insecure" disposition reported by browsers is little more than scaremongering.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: no-one can access my website that is on a domain hosted on plusnet. It worked unti 14 Oct 2025

I have started getting the same problem with our hosted website. The issue has been raised with CS who have redirected it to the Back Office!

Our website is OsborneDance.co.uk which CS appear to be able to view.

When I try to visit the site I keep getting :-

Not Found

The requested URL was not found on this server.

Apache/2.4.58 (Ubuntu) Server at www.osbornedance.co.uk Port 80

I also had the another error message with the same response ie

Index of /

[ICO] Name Last modified Size Description

[DIR] htdocs/   -

Apache/2.4.58 (Ubuntu) Server at www.osbornedance.co.uk Port 80
Sorry if this should be a new thread, but I'm wondering if anyone else is also now getting this problem.
kind regards

I am also getting these problems now for my hosted website.

If I type the address without the "www" I can view my website.

For your website If I type osbornedance.co.uk I can view it. But including "www." it is not.

I can confirm seeing that same behaviour.

I don't know whether it is my setup, but there seems to be several screen layout problems on some of the pages -

  • The formatting of "Site Last update" looks a mess and is partially obscured
  • "follow me on facebook" - why does it look like that ?
  • why is the left hand menu so far to the left ? - it looks like it's width is interfering with the centring of the rest of the page.

Re: no-one can access my website that is on a domain hosted on plusnet. It worked unti 14 Oct 2025

@steed  @MaxSync Thanks for the replies. I can't view our site at all, with or without "www."

I have found out that there is a major internet problem caused by issues on the Cloudflare system that is affecting large parts of the globe. Supposedly fixed but still causing delays, we'lll just have to wait for it to get itself sorted.

Hope this is what is affecting our site.

As for the layout issues on our site, it looked okay on my PC. As long as the information is visible to the people who need to see it, not as if we're a major global corp 😏, we can live with it. Thanks for pointing it out @MaxSync  but the look of the site isn't our top priority. 😉

@Lordwotsit

Just an observation.

If I run a traceroute to  osbornedance.co.uk , the website is correctly being served from the old Plusnet servers -

@dave

Is this more of the October issue?

Same thing happening with my webspace. Removing the www. from the address bar gives access to the site, but both traceroutes are timing out after 8 or 9 nodes. Webspace is accessible via ftp.
