error connecting to sql database

hiya
ive got a forum on my cgi server thats been running really well up until today, ive suddenly been getting loads of error emails all say the same thing

ive raised a ticket with the support team, i was just wondering if anyone else could she any light on it?

ok the emails seem to have stopped now, but i read on a support forum on vbulletin that its to do with a server being rebooted??  I'll wait and see what the support guys say.
