Since buying a laptop 2 months ago I have received warnings that I am reaching my 10gb limit during the first week of the month. I don't download films or music but spend considerable time on Google searches, is it possible to use this amount of allowance on that activity alone.
Fixed! Go to the fix.

If the laptop is running Windows 10 go to Settings, Update & security. Under Update settings select Advanced options. Then select Choose how updates are delivered.
Make sure you have PCs on my local network selected (not PCs on my local network, and PCs on the internet). The second setting can push up your usage a lot - it just saves Microsoft money at your expense.
